As is generally the case with leaked gadgets, first there have been images... And now there’s a video. In the future after Samsung formally announced the August fifth Unpacked event wherein it’s expected to launch the Galaxy note 20, note 20 ultra, and Galaxy Fold successor, the flagship observe has been given the arms-on remedy on YouTube.

The video from Jimmy Is Promo — the identical supply of the images in advance this week — is beneath ninety seconds in duration, so we don’t get to look a ton within the manner of information or new records. Unluckily, there’s no direct affirmation on whether the Note 20 ultra will have a 120Hz display.

However the clip reveals minor adjustments from remaining 12 months’s observe 10: Samsung moved the S Pen cradle to the left facet of the phone rather than the right, as an instance, and the buttons additionally switched facets. The camera bump has grown in length, which shouldn’t come as a marvel considering that phones are an increasing number of moving to larger, higher-first-rate image sensors.

The note 20’s S Pen will seemingly benefit new “pointer” functionality in order to show an on-screen indicator whenever you hold down the S Pen button and factor Samsung’s stylus on the phone. You may pick a trailing coloration to present the function a laser pointer effect, consistent with the video. I’m tough-pressed to provide you with eventualities wherein I’d use the sort of aspect, but Samsung has in no way been shy approximately pumping superfluous software hints into the word lineup. (How many of you notice 10 proprietors are nevertheless the usage of those air gestures?) There’s even a internet site dedicated to the whole lot the S Pen can do.

One week ago, Samsung revealed a hard and fast of marketing pictures of the gold note 20 ultra on its Russian internet site, and those images line up with what we’ve visible this week. It’s very possible that Jimmy Is Promo or other leakers will release more note 20 content inside the coming weeks. Either manner, we’ll get the total story on Samsung’s next gadgets in just beneath a month.
