Whilst that is the case for regions or nations where earthquake warning systems are not to be had, Google will now display fullscreen red indicators on Android phones in California. The state of California has over more than 700 seismometers hooked up. It has partnered with USGS and Cal OES to deploy this feature, in order to be enabled by using default.
